প্রজাতি
ফারজানা ইয়াসমিন
এক প্রজাতি ভালোবেসেছিল আকাশকে।
নীল আকাশকে ছুঁয়ে দেখতে
প্রজাতি উঠতেই থাকলো উপরে।
কিছু দূর যেতেই সূর্যের প্রখর তাপে
প্রজাতির ডানার রঙ গেল উড়ে।
তবুও যেন সাধ মিটে না
আকাশকে দেখবে ছুঁয়ে।
আরও একটু উপরে উঠতেই
প্রজাতির ডানা গেল পুড়ে।
প্রজাতি সূর্যের কাছে পরাজিত হয়ে
অর্ধমৃত প্রায় পড়ে যায় নিচে।
গরমে ঝলসানো শরীর তার
কষ্টে যায় ডুবে সবুজ ঘাসে।
হঠাৎ করেই প্রজাতির মনে হয়
সবুজ ঘাসের বুকে তার ঘুরে বেড়ানো
আকাশকে ভালোবাসার চেয়ে ঢের ভালো।
সবুজের মায়া তাকে কখনো কষ্ট দেয়নি,
কখনো ক্ষত বিক্ষত করেনি।
মাটির ঘরের গল্প শুরু করে প্রজাতি।
ফুলে ফুলে আবার বেড়ায়
জীবনের মায়া নিয়ে দুঃখ ভুলে শত।
