আমরা দুই বোন আর বাবা মা সহ ছোট্ট পরিবার। বাবা এনজিওতে চাকরির জন্য আমাদের সাথে কমই থাকতো।আমরা বাড়িতে থাকতাম।বাবার এত বদলী হতো যে এক বছরে তিন স্কুল বদলাতে হতো।তাই তার সাথে থাকা হত কম। এজন্য ইফতার করার সুযোগ কম হয়েছে এক সাথে। তবে এই দুঃখ দ্বিগুণ আনন্দে রূপ নিতো। যখন বাবা ঈদের জামা আনতো।বাবার পছন্দের রঙ লাল।আমার জামা লাল।মায়ের শাড়ি লাল।বোনের জামা লাল।বাবার সেই লাল রঙ আমার জন্য অনেক বেশি ভালো লাগার ছিল। বাবা যেমন জামাই আনতো আমার খুব পছন্দ হতো।
আমার ছোট বোন আমার আট বছরের ছোট। তাই আমি একাই সম্পূর্ণ আদর আর আবদারের অধিকারী ছিলাম।যদিও আমার বোন হওয়ার পরও আমার আদর একটুও কমেনি।বরং আজও মনে হয়।আমি ওর চেয়ে সব বেশি পাই।আর বাবা ওর চেয়ে আমাকে বেশি ভালোবাসে। মা মনে হয় আমার চেয়ে ওকে বেশি ভালোবাসে।
আসল কথায় আসি।আমার মা একটু রাগী ছিল।শাসন করতো বেশি। বেশি মাড় খেয়েছি ভাত খাওয়ার জন্য। একেবারে পাটকাঠি ছিলাম।বাবা অবশ্য আমাকে বকা বা মাড়া একেবারে অপছন্দ করতো।কখনো যদি মা বাবার সামনে বকেছে বা ভুলে মেড়েছে তো তার চোদ্দ গুণ বেশি বকা মা খেতো। একদিন ডিম ভাজতে গিয়ে হাতে এক ফোঁটা গরম তেল পড়েছিল।বাবা মাকে অনেক বকে ছিলো। যদিও আমি ছোট ছিলাম না।ইন্টারে পড়ি তখন।হয়তো অনেকের কাছে মনে হবে আদিখ্যেতা। তবে আমার কাছে সেটা বাবার পরম আদর ছিল।
আমি রান্না শিখেছি বিয়ের পর।বিয়ের পরের দিনই বুয়া নেই। সে বাড়ি চলে গেছে। এসেছে একমাস পর।এই একমাস আমার দেবর আর মায়ের কাছে থেকে জিজ্ঞেস করে করে রান্না করেছি। কিছুই পারতাম না।রান্নার উপর আমার বিশাল অনীহা ছিল। তাই বাবাকে কখনো নিজের হাতের রান্না করে খাওয়াতে পারিনি। বিয়ের পর আস্তে আস্তে সব শিখেছি।এখন অনেক কিন্তুই রান্না করতে পারি। আর খেতেও মোটামুটি ভালো হয়।এটা আমি না যারা খায় তারা বলে।আমার বাসার সবাই আর বান্ধবীরা অবাক হয়।আমি কিভাবে এখন এসব করি।মা সবার কাছে আমার প্রশংসা করে। আমি কতকিছু রান্না করতে পারি।ছোট বোনটা মাঝে মাঝে খুব আবদার করে এটা ওটা রান্না করে নেয়।তবে অনেক সময় তা পারি না।বাবার বাসায় গেলে করে খাওয়াই।
সবচেয়ে আনন্দ লাগে বাবাকে খাওয়াতে।বাবাকে যদি কফি বা চা বানিয়েও খাওয়াই।কত রকম প্রশংসা যে বাবা করে।দোকানে এটা তো এত দাম।এত মজা হয়েছে। কিভাবে বানলে? কি কি দিয়েছো?মনে হয় এত সাধ আর কিছুতে নেই। যাই রান্না করি বলে,এত মজা হয়েছে। তোমার মা কি যে রান্না করে।তুমি কত মজা করে করেছো।এত কিছু কোথায় থেকে শিখছো?কত কষ্ট করে মেয়েটা।রান্না করে মন ভোরে যায়। কারণ নিজের বাসায় যত মজার রান্নাই করি না কেন।এভাবে মন ভোলানো প্রশংসা কেউ করে না।বাবা যেভাবে মজা করে খায়।আর কেউ সেভাবে খায় না।তখন বাবাকে খুব মনে পড়ে।
খুব ইচ্ছে করে বাবাকে নিজের হাতে ইফতারি করে খাওয়াই।বাবা দেখেনি আমি রোজা রেখেও কত কিছু করতে পারি।তার যে মেয়ে ডিম ভাজতে পারতো না।সে আজ সম্পূর্ণ সংসারের রান্না করে।শশুর বাড়ির সবাকে করে খাওয়ায়।তবে কেউ বাবার মতো প্রশংসা করে না।খেয়ে উঠে যায়। পারলে দোষ ধরবে।মন চায় ৩০ রোজা
বাবাকে নিজের হাতের ইফতারি বানিয়ে খাওয়াই।
মাঝে মাঝে বাবাকে নিজের হাতের রান্না খাওয়াই।
বাবার বাসায় গেলে মা কিছু করতে দেয় না।ভাবে মায়ের কাছে গেছি।আরামে থাকুক মেয়ে। মাঝে মাঝে মায়ের হাতের রান্নাও অনেক মিস করি।অমন রান্না যে আমার হয় না।আমার মায়ের রান্না অসাধারণ। তবুও বাবার কাছে আমার বোনের কাছে মায়ের কাছে আমার রান্না অসাধারণ। কি যে শান্তি লাগে যখন বাবা প্রশংসা করতে করতে খায়।মাঝে মাঝে বোনটাকে হিংসা হয়।এখন বাবা মায়ের সব আদর পায়।তাদের সাথে থাকে।তাদের সাথে খায়।বিয়ে হয়নি তাই। হঠাৎ হঠাৎ ভাবি বাবার কাছে থাকলেই পারতাম।এতটা ভালো তো কেউ বাসে না আমাকে।যতটা বাবা এখনো বাসে।মাও বাসে।তবে বাবা বেশি ভালোবাসে আমাকে।আজ কত কিছু রান্না করতে পারি। শুধু মন চাইলেই বাবা মাকে খাওয়াতে পারি না।
